GRAIN CARDS

Grain Cards are versatile 60 double-sided cards designed for sorting core values, facilitating meaningful conversations, and uncovering defining moments.

Each card serves as a unique tool to explore the rich metaphor of wood grain, adding depth and insight to your personal and collective reflections.

Background
Grain Cards began as an idea amongst facilitators and friends to create a deck of cards that could invoke reflective discussions in a way we had not seen yet, but frequently talk about. There are so many phenomenal and impactful decks out there that we support and use every day with our participants, and we do not expect this to be a replacement to those; but rather an additional tool to add to your kits.
where wood grain resonates, core values permeate
Individual Uniqueness: Just as no two pieces of wood have identical grain patterns, no two individuals are exactly alike. The grain in wood symbolizes the distinct features, experiences, and traits that make each person unique.
Inner Nature and Strength: Wood grain is indicative of the tree's growth history, including its strengths and weaknesses. The knots and variations in the grain can symbolize challenges and strengths, illustrating how life's trials and tribulations contribute to one's character and resilience.
Natural Development: Wood grain follows the natural growth of the tree, suggesting that there is a natural course to the development of one's life or talents.
Authenticity: Wood grain is a natural pattern that cannot be replicated exactly by artificial means. There is authenticity and genuineness in trees.
Complexity and Depth: The intricate patterns of wood grain can also represent the complexity and depth of a person's character or a situation. Just as wood grain can be intricate and varied, so too can the layers of human personality or the nuances of a particular context be multifaceted and rich with detail.
